Marco Polo mast rigged, handrails on, and name added

This morning I installed Lil' Mule II's stainless steel & leather-covered handrails; yeah, now she feels like a respectable woman :)
I also put the Marco Polo mast back together, and got the lettering on for her name.

Varnishing toerails

A light day today. I was going to ASM to sail today, but had to change plans. So I profited from this lovely day to finish sanding the toerails and put on a first, diluted, layer of varnish:

Weather permitting, next Friday I'll be sanding the deck and starting to prep it for painting. On saturday the 23rd I'll be painting the white parts, and so I'll likely start putting the hardware back on (see when I took it off), on Monday the 25th, unless it looks like I'll need a second coat of paint.
