New columns for supporting the mast

So I picked up the new columns for the Caprice, and am very happy with them.
I will be going back to the wood shop where I got them for other wood bits, as they also have marine ply and teck...
Made out of solid white oak, the new columns for the Caprice are stronger than
the previous ones, and in better shape. I had them cut to size by a
family-owned woodworking shop in Paris called AZ Bois. I chose white oak for its strength
and was able to pick out the stock from which the columns would be cut.


Now all that remains is for me to put them in place, along with the finished bulkheads and then await the new oak beam that will go on top.
