Sail trial after the restoration

I took her out this afternoon for a trial sail. There was next to no wind at all, and I admit using the motor to get from one pocket of wind to another. It nevertheless allowed me to see how she was under sail - even if it was with the small headsail.

Hi Ryan
Great to see you afloat but what will you do with all your time now! When you do get out in a decent bit of wind, mind you don't knock your cowls off (and into the water) like I did. I keep them inside now and put them up when at anchor/moored. (blanking plates cover the holes)

faut des rames , comme sur un bon vieux drakkar , non?
For my time now? Well, my wife has reminded me that if only the house were as nice as the boat *ahem* ;)
The replacement cowls are fitted such that they are fixed to the boat, they can be closed from the inside however. I'm defiantly looking forward to some wind in November!
Guy: heureusement pour moi il y a un moteur, sinon oui, ça fait drakkar lol :)
